The NEOWAVE LinkeoA-NFC is a compact, high-performance desktop reader for contactless NFC and RFID cards and tags. It adds Contactless capabilities to the Linkeo product family: While the LinkeoA-Y and LinkeoC-Y read contact-based smart cards, the LinkeoA-NFC enables contactless communication with a wide range of NFC and RFID standards. Thanks to PC/SC CCID compatibility and Plug and Play operation, it is ready for immediate use without the need to install drivers—on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android.
Contactless and universal: Maximum card compatibility
The LinkeoA-NFC is based on ISO 14443 communication technology operating at 13.56 MHz and supports an exceptionally wide range of card and tag standards: ISO 14443 Type A and B, MIFARE, DESFire, as well as NFC tags and FeliCa. This universal compatibility makes it the ideal solution for organizations that operate different card types within a single infrastructure or wish to migrate to new standards in stages. The storage compartment is compatible with the ID-1 format (86 × 54 mm)—suitable for all standard credit card and ID card formats.
Plug and Play: Driver-free installation on all common systems
Like all Linkeo readers, the LinkeoA-NFC is PC/SC CCID-compliant. No driver is required on modern operating systems—the device is automatically detected and is ready for use immediately. It holds Microsoft WHQL certification and is certified to ISO/IEC 18092 and RoHS standards. The two-color LED indicates the operating status at a glance.
Versatile – from e-ticketing to PKI security up to PKI security
The LinkeoA-NFC has already proven itself in a wide range of NFC applications: ticketing and transportation, e-government, e-banking and e-payment, e-health, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), logical security and network access control, physical Access Control, and loyalty programs.
