The NEOWAVE LinkeoA-Y is a compact, high-performance desktop smart card reader for contact smart cards compliant with ISO 7816. With its USB-A Interface, it can be easily integrated into existing office and home environments without the need to install drivers. Thanks to its PC/SC CCID compatibility, it is ready for immediate use on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Android. Developed and manufactured in France, the LinkeoA-Y bears the “Cybersecurity Made in Europe” label and meets the highest European quality and security standards.

Plug and Play: Easy integration without drivers

The LinkeoA-Y is fully PC/SC CCID-compliant—no driver installation is required on modern operating systems. Just plug it in, and you’re ready to go. This makes it the ideal choice for companies that need a quick and seamless rollout across a large number of workstations—without any IT effort or compatibility issues. The Société des Transports de Montréal (STM) is already using the LinkeoA-Y on a large scale.

Supported Cards and Protocols

The LinkeoA-Y supports ISO 7816 Class A, B, and C cards (5V, 3V, and 1.8V) as well as the T=0 and T=1 protocols, including PPS (Protocols and Parameters Selection) commands. It is compatible with FIDO2-enabled smart cards such as the NEOWAVE Badgeo FIDO2 and is therefore also suitable for Passwordless authentication based on FIDO2 in enterprise environments.
