The NEOWAVE LinkeoC-Y is the direct counterpart to the LinkeoA-Y—with the key difference being a USB-C interface. It is therefore designed for modern work environments with the latest laptops, tablets, and smartphones that exclusively or primarily feature USB-C ports. Like the LinkeoA-Y, it is Plug and Play capable, fully PC/SC CCID-compliant, and requires no driver on modern operating systems. Developed and manufactured in France, the LinkeoC-Y also bears the “Cybersecurity Made in Europe” label.

While the LinkeoA-Y stands out with its tried-and-true USB-A port, the LinkeoC-Y relies on the future-proof USB-C standard. It’s ideal for use with modern laptops, ultrabooks, and mobile devices, as well as at desktop workstations equipped with a USB-C hub. Especially during Remote Work and in mobile work scenarios, it offers the same reliability as its USB-A counterpart—no adapter required, no compromises.

Supported Cards and Protocols

Like the LinkeoA-Y, the LinkeoC-Y supports ISO 7816 cards of classes A, B, and C (5V, 3V, and 1.8V), the T=0 and T=1 protocols, and PPS commands. It is compatible with FIDO2-enabled smart cards such as the NEOWAVE Badgeo FIDO2, thereby enabling Passwordless FIDO2 authentication in enterprise environments.
