The Feitian TOTP C200 token is a robust hardware token that generates OTP (one-time passwords). The token comes in a number of variants to work with different applications and integration requirements.
The Feitian C200 hardware tokens come with the following options:
– C200 outer casing (i34, H27, VC-200 card) ➔ Picture
– Algorithms (SHA1 or SHA256)
– Pre-installed seeds (ready-to-use) or NFC (User programmable seeds)
– Time interval (30 or 60 Seconds)

Feitian C200 Token Seed Formats:
Seed Format – Why do we ask about the seed format?
Most of our customers use the C200 token with common applications like Microsoft Azure/Entra or 365, Sophos, or privacyIDEA to provide a strong two-factor authentication (2FA) to login. Other customers, use the C200 token for 2FA with custom-developed applications. This is often the case at universities, research centers and government agencies. Regardless of which application is used, you will require a seed to integrate the token with the application.
After placing your order, PCP will provide you with a seed file, free of charge, in one of the following formats (Base32, HEX, XML, or PSKC).
Selecting the right seed format, depends on the application you use the hardware tokens with. To help, PCP provides an overview of many commonly used applications, outlining which exact seed format your application supports. If you have not specified the seed-format on your purchase order, we will contact you automatically, when we receive your order. We therefore ask, that you please include your personal contact details on your purchase order.
Dual use of the Feitian C200 hardware token:
Under certain circumstances, it’s possible to use the same hardware token with different applications for secure 2FA. For this to work, the applications must support the same token variant, although not necessarily the same seed format. Your advantage: you reduce the number of tokens per user, without compromising any enhanced security. If you have any questions about this, we’d be happy to advise you personally.

After sending you the hardware tokens, you will receive an email from us with a secure link to your dedicated seed-file. The seed-file is encrypted and accessible only via the link we’ve provided. At the same time, we will send you your individual password, to open the encrypted seed-file. The password will either be sent to your mobile phone as a text message, or to a second email address (for example to a colleague), but never to the same email address to which we’ve sent the email with the seed-link.
Programming your own seeds:
Despite top-notch security measures for handling token seeds, some customers want to program their own seeds onto the tokens we sent them. To these customers, PCP offers NFC tokens, which allow you to program your own seeds onto the tokens, using either a Google or Windows app. For Google, you will need an Android smartphone with NFC, for Windows, you’ll need our NFC reader (R502-CL), which connects to your Windows laptop via USB-A cable.
