The IDTech AP6800 is ID TECH’s first Android-based payment terminal and the most powerful member of the NEO 3 platform. Built on Android 13 with a high-performance industrial chip, it combines everything modern unattended payment environments need in a single device: EMV, NFC, and magstripe payment processing, PIN on Glass, app hosting, 4K support for an external display, and an integrated camera, microphone, and speaker. PCI PTS 6.X SRED certified and IP65- and IK08-rated, the AP6800 is designed for the most demanding continuous operation.

Android 13 as an Operating System: Maximum Flexibility Through App Hosting

The AP6800 runs on Android 13 with an industrial-grade chip—ensuring it stays up to date indefinitely without the need for hardware upgrades. As an open Android platform, operators can host their own payment and business applications directly on the device. ID TECH provides a powerful Android SDK (ZSDK) that enables the rapid development and deployment of customized applications for ordering, payment, digital advertising, and customer communication.

5-inch touchscreen and 4K output to an external monitor

The AP6800’s high-brightness, outdoor-ready 5-inch touchscreen supports PIN on Glass and is suitable for displaying payment menus, order interfaces, and video advertising content. At the same time, the AP6800 can drive an external display with up to 4K resolution—making it a complete digital signage and payment platform in one.

All payment methods, all loyalty protocols

The AP6800 accepts magnetic stripe, EMV Chip, NFC/Contactless, as well as QR codes and barcodes. Supported wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay. For loyalty and rewards: Apple VAS and Google Smart Tap. Communication options include RS-232, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual USB, Ethernet, and optional LTE 4G.

IP65, IK08, and PCI PTS 6.X SRED: Built for the toughest outdoor applications

The AP6800 is certified to IP65 (dust and water jet protection) and IK08 (impact resistance), and is PCI PTS 6.X SRED-certified. It is equally suitable for use in EV charging stations, Parking Meters, vending machines, POS kiosks, and quick-service restaurants.

NEO 3 Platform: One Certification, All Devices

As part of the NEO 3 platform, the AP6800 shares the same EMV L2 Common Kernel. A one-time Certification of a NEO 3 device automatically applies to all others—maximizing efficiency during deployment and scaling.
