The Payter P66 is the specialized, Contactless NFC terminal in the P6 product family and was developed from the ground up for discreet installation in unattended vending machines and kiosks. Based on the European EVA/NAMA Vending standard, it fits exactly into the mounting format of bill validators—allowing it to be seamlessly integrated into existing vending machines, soda dispensers, car washes, Parking Meters, and similar systems without any design modifications. Thanks to the ability to mount the terminal behind a glass or Plexiglas panel (up to 4–5 mm thick), it provides a fully integrated, vandal-proof, and aesthetically pleasing solution.

Contactless, discreet, and vandal-proof: The integrated solution

The P66 supports only Contactless (NFC) transactions—tap-to-pay via card or smartphone—making it ideally suited for modern vending environments where speed and simplicity are crucial. Its design, which allows it to be fully mounted behind glass, makes it significantly less vulnerable to vandalism than conventional surface-mounted terminals and gives the device a professional, clean appearance. A separate antenna option is available for particularly demanding environments.

Comprehensive Connectivity and Communication Protocols

Every P66 comes standard with a LAN connection—the preferred method of communication. An integrated 3G/4G modem is available as an option and can be delivered as a true Plug and Play solution, complete with a SIM card and service contract. Supported protocols: MDB Level 3, EVA DTS (European Vending Association Data Transfer Standard), CCI, Executive (via VendBox), RS232, USB, and Pulse—making the P66 compatible with virtually all common vending machine control systems. It also features inputs and outputs (potential-free contacts) for controlling peripheral devices such as turnstiles, doors, car wash systems, and servo motors.

Telemetry and Remote Management

The P66 supports EVA DTS telemetry: Operators can remotely monitor their machines, receive error messages, and retrieve sales data—without the need for on-site service visits. The integrated online back office enables remote management of all deployed terminals.

Corporate Branding and SDK

All Payter products can be delivered in the operator’s corporate identity—with custom colors, logo, and design. For in-house applications, the Payter SDK is available; it runs on Windows, .NET, Linux, and Raspberry Pi and includes a full suite of development tools, including sample code.
