For those who need maximum flexibility combined with the highest level of security, the NEOWAVE Badgeo HYB QSCD is the ideal solution. This hybrid smart card combines a contact interface (ISO 7816) with multiple Contactless technologies (NFC/RFID) and an eIDAS QSCD-certified PKI applet—all in a single, convenient credit card format.

Hybrid Technology for a Wide Range of Applications

The Badgeo HYB QSCD supports ISO 7816 contact, as well as MIFARE, DESFire EV2/EV3, ISO 15693, and 125-kHz technologies, all at the same time. It thus covers PKI-based digital signatures and network authentication, as well as physical Access Control, time and attendance tracking, and cafeteria systems—all with a single card.

The highest safety standards from Europe

The Java Card™ component is certified to Common Criteria EAL6 +. The eIDAS QSCD-certified PKI applet enables legally valid qualified electronic signatures throughout the EU and meets the requirements of eIDAS, PSD2, and QSCD. Developed and manufactured in Europe, the card bears the ” Cybersecurity Made in Europe” label.

Centralized Management with AET SafeSign Middleware

The AET SafeSign Identity Client (CSP/KSP/PKCS#11) middleware enables seamless integration with Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as with popular browsers. Companies can centrally manage all logical and physical access rights: certificate generation, user registration, and access revocation—all from a single source.

Cryptographic strength and optional customization

Supported algorithms: RSA 2048/3072/4096-bit, as well as ECC P-256, P-384, and P-521. PIN and PUK (5–15 bytes, max. 3 failed attempts) secure access to the card. Optionally, you can customize the card with your company logo, an employee photo, name, and a unique serial number—the perfect foundation for a modern, multifunctional employee ID card.
