The Neowave Winkeo2J-A FIDO2 is the top-of-the-line model in NEOWAVE’s new generation of FIDO2 USB-A devices. Featuring a smart card component certified to Common Criteria EAL6+ and official FIDO L1 Certification, it is designed for organizations and users who do not want to compromise on security.

FIDO L1 Certification and EAL6+ Smart Card

Unlike standard FIDO2 keys, the Winkeo2J-A FIDO2 is based on a Micro-SIM smart card (ISO 7816, Java Card™) certified to Common Criteria EAL6+ —the highest internationally recognized security level for smart card components. In addition, the device is FIDO L1 certified, which guarantees verified hardware security in accordance with the FIDO Alliance standard.

FIDO2 (CTAP 2.1) – the latest protocol version

The Winkeo2J-A FIDO2 supports FIDO2 CTAP 2.1 and FIDO U2F. CTAP 2.1 offers advanced features such as Enterprise Attestation, improved PIN management (Protocols 1 and 2), credBlob, largeBlobs, and the management of specific PIN policies. The Private Key never leaves the device—providing maximum protection against phishing, credential theft, and man-in-the-middle attacks.

Passwordless Authentication and MFA

Just plug it in, enter your PIN, and press the button—that’s it. Compatible with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Entra ID. FIDO U2F can be used to secure more than 250 online services (Gmail, Dropbox, GitHub, PayPal, OVH, WordPress) and identity federation solutions (Evidian, OKTA, Ping Identity).
