This allows companies to securely and conveniently reprogram the cryptographic keys of their OTP cards on-site—using an NFC-enabled Android smartphone or a Feitian NFC reader, without the need for a cable connection. This makes the VCN200E the ideal solution for organizations that want to maintain full control over their OTP infrastructure.

NFC Seed Programming: Maximum Security and Control

The biggest advantage of the VC-N200E over conventional OTP cards is its NFC-based seed reprogramming. By default, OTP cards come with a pre-programmed seed—which cannot be changed. The VC-N200E, on the other hand, allows you to set or renew the seed independently and securely upon receiving the card, without having to rely on external service providers. This offers a significant advantage over Google Authenticator and other mobile token apps: the entire seed management process remains in the hands of the company.

TOTP with E-Ink Display: Same Reliability, More Flexibility

Like the VC200E, the VCN200E displays the current 6-digit TOTP code on an integrated EPD (E-Ink) display —with a refresh interval of either 30 or 60 seconds. The algorithm is HMAC-SHA1 and fully OATH-compliant. The card requires no software installation on the end device, operates completely independently, and, like the VC200E, is equipped with a flexible battery for a service life of 3 to 5 years.

The VC-N200E meets the same robust quality standards as the VC200E: IP68 protection rating(dust- and water-tight), dynamic bending and torsional strength in accordance with the bank card standard (500 bending cycles per side without functional or surface damage), Operating temperature 0 °C to / up to +50 °C. Dimensions: 85.6 × 54 × 0.84 mm – standard credit card format per ISO 7810. Compliant with RoHS and ISO 7810 standards.
